I also can be a hipster lah sey!

Here's how you can be one too:

- Just write anything on a piece of paper. Plagiarising an inspiring quote from the net is a-okay, coz you are not witty enough to come up with an original one anyway.

- Vintage effect is a MUST.

- Sprinkle a few 'bokeh' effect here and there to make it more dramatic yet sombre and still sounds deep.

- For more profound effect use a beautiful scenery as the background. Can be a picture of anything. Even if it's your lousy charging Nokia phone, like so.

- Share it online so that it'll make wave in cyberspace.

6 types of Love persona - Which is you?

Here's to the six love styles, which is more intimately known as 'colours' of love, that was identified by John Lee:

Eros, Storge, Ludus, Mania, Agape and Pragma.

Different types of interpersonal relationships involves varying styles of love. It is obvious that the affection you shared between you and your lover is different from the ones you have with friends. So, why not take the test with your partner in tow? The assessment will definitely help in your romantic relationship by being aware of each other's attributes :)

Eros: a passionate physical and emotional love based on aesthetic enjoyment; stereotype of romantic love

Storge: an affectionate love that slowly develops from friendship, based on similarity

Ludus: a love that is played as a game or sport; conquest; may have multiple partners at once

Mania: obsessive love; experience great emotional highs and lows; very possessive and often jealous lovers

Agape: selfless altruistic love

Pragma: love that is driven by the head, not the heart; undemonstrative

It's been a long time coming

A little something that brought me forward from He Is Beautiful. He will guide anyone He wishes from anywhere, anytime and anybody.

It's strange how things turned out to be,
From the man I least expect to see;
Who illuminates my inner decree

Lost in the fury of the flame,
Swindled by the worldly acclaim,
Basking each in its glory and fame,
With desires that goes untamed

Oh! My Lord, in this sweetness of night,
When the eyes rest from all sight,
Before sleep descends to invite;
I seek Your presence forthright

Oh! The universe's Creator
The night's and the day's Curator
Only You can fill our soul's crater

I thank You, for meeting him
Cause in him, such is beauty
For in him, I found You

5 Reasons to date an NIE teacher

Alright, allow me to 'broach' a light-hearted topic on why 100% of my closest Malay/Muslim friends who majors in Engineering in NTU have partners who hailed from the educational sector.

As far as I'm concerned, there's no shortage of drawbacks dating a teacher. By default, a public servant essentially has to forfeit a good deal of their personal privacy. Imagine that awkward incident when you're caught lip-locking by her students. Boy, wouldn't it make to the top trending topic in twitter, say, #MissRinaKissingUglyDude !

And, due to the nature of her profession, she would have to content with a ridiculous deal of take-home work such as marking of papers, lessons planning and so forth.. June/December 'holidays', you say? HAH. Likewise, teaching can be interpreted as a last resort 'bail-out' career path for those who can't or aren't qualified for the private sector.

So it makes me wonder, even though our career trajectories are world's apart, what makes these ladies to be an exceptional teacher's pets for my friends?

He Is Beautiful

Okay, it's been almost a month now since my last exam.

I've been keeping my fingers crossed the whole time for the revelation on 24/5/12, the fitting finale to my treacherous journey in NTU. Hopefully, I'll pass, and then graduate.

But it was on that last examination day that I would remember for the rest of my life. It was not because of the last paper that I sat for, but rather, the one in the MRT.

Beautiful he

I don't wish to appear voyeuristic, so I didn't snap the picture of the Sikh gentleman. This is the best I can do on a Galaxy Note (galaxy note rocks, yo!). Indeed, it appears very dull and drab to the say the least, but it definitely isn't for me, given the circumstances. I mean, what's so striking about a man reading a book in the MRT anyway?

The Problem for Educated Females

Finally, I've managed to fabricate a 90-page report for my FYP in a space of one and half month, which is nothing short of an achievement for me. Achievement, because for nearly half of it, I really don't know what I'm talking about. If there's one thing I could take away from my tertiary education, that is to be a specialist at bullshitting, coz even with hundreds of arduous readings from journals and i can still be none the wiser.

And so, I felt sinful for updating this post considering that my exams will be around the corner, but I cant help reading with interest a newspaper article entitled 'Graduate Women, Will You Marry Down?' (The New Paper on Sunday, April 15, 2012).

Coz truth be told, I thought it was a rhetorical question.

The Best Inequality Equation

Here's one algebraic manipulation for your maths-savvy Minah.

Stylo-milo, right? Albert Einstein rocked the scientific nation with this astounding discovery - that I'm the coolest!

True Story.
